Electives

For my Elective I have yoga. I personally think in yoga the hardest thing for me is staying quiet when we have to because i'm a very Loud person. We learn a lot of poses and breathing things to make us calm. There are a couple very funny poses that makes us giggle a little bit Like. Happy baby, Yoga Nidra and alot of others but to to make be giggle the most. Yoga Nidra is when you lay down and be calm and the yoga teacher talk about what's going on while we have our eyes closed sometime theres some music or we are just listening to her voice.
This is the one that make me laugh the most.

Term 3 week 1 reflection

This week I found out that I could do really good in cross country. I enjoyed doing the little plays we were doing in class. I know that if I  keep practicing for cross country I think I could do better and better every time.

I think grandpa sid is helpful and kind and he really doenst want to hurt baron von spanner.

Miss Sturch Game the class a peice of paper with pictures on it. We had to write about a picture there were 4 different pictures. I picked a picture of a dog and wrote about that most of the people wrote about a creepy picture of like trees or something.

Nikki

“Puff puff puff” running along the beach chasing after my ball as my owner throws far away. My name is sattern I love going to the beach especially when it's a nice hot day so I can cool down in the nice water. Me and my owner go there alot sometimes there are alot of dogs there I like making friends. Whenever I go to the beach I always wear my pink bandanna It's my favorite but sometimes it gets all dirty so we have to clean and sometimes I don't get to wear it. There are a lot of people there sometimes some people come up and pat me and that's what I really like.

  What I like about the beach is digging my little paws into the nice soft warm sand I always like to dig holes and bearry my ball. The saddest part about the beach is when we have to come home because then I have to leave my friends and go back home and get all clean. But apart from that The beach is Amazing while my owner relaxes in the sun I go run round or sometimes relax with her while we are in the nice sun I like to get my fur all warm and then go jump into the water.

 I'm not allowed to go too far otherwise I get told off and I don't like that. Why can I not just live at the beach? Someone in our family has a beach house right next to the water and some weeks we go stay with them. They also have a dog her names Cotton she is the same breed as me we are border collies. When we go stay there we go wander down at the beach and play tug of war, fetch the ball, frisbee and other games like that my favorite game is fetch because I get to run a lot. 

Today we are at the beach it's a nice hot sunny day we are with Cotton and her owner. They are taking us for a walk until they find a spot to sit and eat there lunch why they watch us play Cotton is my best friend. We are going to go into the water now and then come back and shake all over our owners and make them laugh hopefully they give us some food because i'm starving and I think Cotton is to. Hopefully they brought us some snacks.

Now it is time to go home we have a long time to drive sometimes I really have to go toilet while we are in the car but I try not to otherwise i'm in big big trouble. So I wait till i'm home the ride from the beach is about 40 minutes I do not like coming home from the beach because I have to leave Cotton all on her own but she does have other friends down at the beach. Next time i'll see her and we will have another play date thanks for the good day cotton I really liked it.

As I turn my eyes round I see this big belly of my sisters. 

While time flies by it's about 2 weeks from now

I'm going to be hearing a screaming baby like someone who needs help.

Mountains of washing smelling like new born babies.

Trying to get through my wardrobe as baby stuff is erupting like a volcano.

My nose sniffs the air of smelly diapers.

My Apple Peeler Writing

What if you could peel and core a apple all at the same time well you can there is a machine called a apple peeler it can core a apple and peel it.

First you will need a flat surface to balance your apple machine thing on like a table or something. Then on the bottom of the peeler there is a bit that you can stick to the table so it stays stable there is a little handle on the side that will help it do that. You pull that little handle thing and the bottom will suck to the bottom.

The second step is to put the apple on the stick thing and get it steady then you start twisting the handle on the side and the apple will start movies. If you want it just cored then you take the peeler away from it and it will just core the apple. But if you want is peeled and cored well you have to have them both there so it can do its jobs.

The third step is it will start coring and peeling and you should really go slow so it doesn't fall off the stick. After it starts peeling or what ever your doing with it and it stops that's when you take it off the stick thing just watch out because you could cut yourself on the blades they are very very sharp.

The fourth step is to stop twisting it and take the apple machine off the table and go put it in the sink and wash it and get it clean before you reuse it again. Otherwise you don't want it yucky and dirty.

Book Report

Book report on boy in striped pajamas.

At first I didn't really understand the book until I watched the movie. When I first saw the movie I cried because it's quite sad. The movie is about how Bruno meets the little boy behind the fence. Bruno brings food and stuff to play with but he can't play because he's behind a fence. Then one day bruno ask if he can have some striped pajamas. And so he digs a hole under the fence and he with his friend. But then they ask some of the people to have a shower but it's not actually a shower it's a gas shower. A gas shower is a shower you walk into and bruno thought it was a shower so he walked in (this is the part I cried in ) and all of a sudden it's a gas shower and he dies:(

Weka Point

• I can now do archwire because last time I did it I was really bad and now i'm good

P.E today

For P.E today we did skipping. I enjoyed this because we had a challenge created by miss Fisher. It was girls vs boys who ever could get the most people from their gender in the ropes without it stopping. I loved this because we girls had more girls than boys so we get a prize.

In room 9 we had to make a picture book. I chose to make mine with Drew. We have made our book or making our book about minecraft. We are making our book for yaer 4 students at Te Mata.

Color Blending

 

For art we learnt about warm and hot colors, we also leant about blending colors. We were given two sheets of paper with maori designs on them. Then we chose two colors for each design and we blended them.This is a picture of my finished design.

In room 9 this week we had to make a Graffiti poster. The poster had to have a human body part fact on it. These are mine.

In art we made a self portrait we could either cut it in half or cut a corner. We put some colour so it didn't look bare. I added some dark blue so it has a touch of colour I made made look Like this:

Flag votes

Room 9 had to vote to ether keep or change the flag.
10 people wanted to keep the flag one of them is  me.
And 19 people voted to Change the flag. Its was very exciting when we heard we were keeping the flag!!
